Can I paint my concrete steps

by Abbey

Q. Is it best to paint, stain or epoxy outdoor concrete steps?

A. Epoxy and Paint are very sensitive to moisture, these are not the best choice for exterior concrete.

Acid staining the steps would be the best choice.

Most epoxies and paint for concrete will not let the concrete breathe after they are coated. When moisture from within the concrete tries to escape, it will form blisters and peel off the epoxy and paint.
