It provides modest slip resistance, is the most affordable, and is easy to keep clean. CLEAR MAT - The clear garage floor covering is available in ribbed and diamond patterns. They are great if you don't want any color or if you want to protect a colored concrete garage floor. If you want to protect your new garage floor from harmful chemicals or cover up that old cracked and stained concrete floor, then a garage floor covering mat is a great choice. You can install it yourself, they're easily cleaned, and will reduce the amount of dirt that gets tracked into the house.
