When To Start Finishing Concrete

Mike here,

Cold weather has set in and your concrete isn't setting up very fast, what can you do to speed up the set times?

I've got a system I use to get the concrete for my floors and slabs to dry faster than most.

Let's face it, if you start pouring early in the morning, you want your concrete to dry fast enough to be finished by the time it starts getting dark again.

This is what we strive for, finishing concrete in the dark with lights is no fun and you just can't see very good with all the shadows on the floor.

I use a special concrete mix along with some "concrete blankets" to keep the sub-base warm to get my concrete to dry very fast.

Take a look at my new video where I explain to you what this special concrete mix is and how we use it to finish up our jobs before dark sets in.
