When To Start Finishing Concrete

After you pour the concrete, how do you know when to start the finishing process?

That's a question I get asked a lot.

There's a lot a variables that affect the timing of when you start finishing.

Here's a few:

1. type of concrete mix

2. outside temperature

3. if it's in the sun or shade

4. how wet or dry you pour the concrete

5. what's the sub-base

6. how long it takes the concrete truck to get to the job-site

Those are most of them, at least the one's I deal with the most.
