Pouring Concrete Over Existing Concrete (New Patio Slab)
#ConcreteOverConcrete #EverythingAboutConcrete In this video I'm pouring concrete over an existing concrete patio slab. This project required us to pour a new concrete ramp over an old existing concrete patio slab. The owner wanted to be able to drive from the patio/driveway slab into his garage. There used to be a wooden ramp in front of the door. We thought a concrete ramp would be better to replace it. The old concrete patio was very rough and not in good condition. Pouring concrete over it at 4" thick and more is no problem with very little prep needed. Just clean the loose debris and pour right over the old concrete as long as it's structurally sound. This video shows us pouring the concrete, Part 2 will show how we finished the concrete. Want to start your own concrete flatwork business?
