How To Repair And Resurface A Concrete Patio Slab
#EverythingAboutConcrete #MikeDayConcrete In this video I'm repairing and resurfacing a concrete patio slab that has a lot of spalling due to using deicing materials in the winter. Resurfacing concrete can be done with a lot of different repair materials and we use a bunch of them. On this project I'm using a 2-part polyaspartic coating and broadcasting flake into it like a garage floor coating. Polyaspartic coatings can be used for exterior concrete repair and to resurface a concrete entry slab just like this one. I first grind the concrete to remove all the damaged and soft concrete left by the deicing materials. Then I patch the deep spalling areas with a fast setting polyurea repair product. Then I resurface with the coating and broadcast the flake into it. Lastly I use a clear top coating of polyaspartic to finish it off and waterproof the concrete.
