The techniques we use to pour and finish this concrete slab would be the same ones you would use for any type of exterior slab like, generator slabs, hot tub slabs, patio slabs, sidewalk and walkway slabs, and even a dumpster slab or pad. We had a 75' reach to get to this slab so we used a conveyor truck and two concrete chutes to reach it. A 4000 psi concrete mix was used with 3/4" aggregate and fibermesh as well. I also had a high range water reducer added to the mix so I could pour a looser slump without weakening the concrete.
