This is a 4 inch thick concrete floor and we used a 3500 psi mix with fibermesh for reinforcement. I was hired by the general contractor on this job only to install the concrete floor. The GC doesn't use wire mesh in his floors so we add polypropylene fibers in the mix as a replacement for the reinforcement. The garage floor took 5.5 yards of concrete, we poured the floor and then we finished the concrete by troweling it smooth. The concrete tools we use to pour concrete floors and concrete slabs are all from Marshalltown. They make very good quality tools that last. I highly recommend them if you're looking to pour a floor like this one.
