Concrete Patio DIY Pour (How Fast Do You Have To Be?)
#EverythingAboutConcrete #MikeDayConcrete In this video I'm showing you how to pour a 50' x 10' diy concrete patio slab. You'll learn how fast you have to pour the concrete and how much time you have to work with a truck load of concrete. This concrete patio pour took 10 yards of 4000 psi concrete. The patio slab was sloped 2" away from the building to shed water. When we pour a concrete patio, no matter what the size, we know how long we have to work with the concrete after it comes out of the truck before it starts to set up. This critical bit of information is really important so you know how fast or slow you have to work to get the concrete placed. The video will teach you the timing of pouring, leveling, screeding, and bull floating the concrete.
