Prep Work Before Installing A Concrete Floor (Garage Floor)

This garage was 40' x 30' and had a frost wall for a foundation. I had to hire an excavator to do the backfilling and prep the gravel for the floor. We showed up to install 2" styrofoam under the slab and wire mesh. When we got there the excavator was finishing up so we jumped in to help them and speed things up. Having a good excavator on the job makes the whole building process go a lot smoother. They make sure the sub-base, back fill, and site work is done right to spec.
