17 Minute Garage Floor Pour (How To Pour A Concrete Floor)
#EverythingAboutConcrete #TheConcreteUnderground #MikeDayConcrete In this video you'll see how we pour a garage floor in 17 minutes. This was in real time and I didn't tell my crew I was timing us. You'll learn how a professional concrete flooring company pours a concrete floor fast and easy. This garage floor is 24' x 24' x 4" and has a 2" slope from back to front. We're using 3500 psi concrete with fibermesh, air-entrainment, and water-reducer. The total yardage on this job was 8 cubic yards of concrete. We have a procedure when we pour a concrete floor. Step 1. Pour and rake out the concrete as close to grade as possible. Step 2. Mag float our edges to the chalk line for floor grade. Step 3. Mag float the center pad for grade. Step 4. Strike off our center pad with the screed Step 5. Screed the first "bay", then the second, third, fourth. Step 6. Bull float to smooth the concrete Those are the basic steps we follow on all our garage floor pours.
