Pouring A New Garage Floor 30' X 40' (That Slopes 3" Towards The Doors)
#EverytingAboutConcrete #MikeDayConcrete In this video i'm showing us pouring a new garage floor for a 30' x 40' garage. This concrete floor slopes 3" from the back of the garage towards the garage doors. We normally slope new garage floors if the garage doesn't have a floor drain installed. At least with a slope in the floor, any water dripping off the cars will work its way to the door openings and out the door. The video will show you how we pour the concrete out of the truck, how we screed the concrete, and how we bull float the concrete smooth. I'm also showing you how I use the laser level during the pour to set the height of the slope in the wet concrete.
