Pouring And Finishing A Concrete Patio With A 1.5" Overhang

We formed this overhang so the concrete would hide the seam between the bottom of the concrete patio and the top of the foundation wall. The patio slab is 6' x 40' x 4" and we used a 4000 psi concrete mix with fibermesh and air-entrainment in the mix. We placed the concrete to slope away from the house as this will be an open faced patio with just a roof over it. We cut joints, edged, and broom finished the concrete to give it its final look.
