Adding To An Existing Concrete Patio Slab (Forming, Pouring, Finishing)

#EverythingAboutConcrete #MikeDayConcrete Adding to an existing concrete patio slab with a new concrete slab. In this video we're forming, pouring, and broom finishing a new concrete slab for a hot tub. The slab will be installed next to an existing concrete patio slab, making it bigger by about 15' x 9'. We put 2" styrofoam under the new slab so the frost wouldn't heave and crack it. The old patio slab has moved a little and has one large crack that we're going to repair. Then we're going to resurface the old slab to make it look a lot better.
