#EverythingAboutConcrete #MikeDayConcrete This video will show you how to set up and use a self-leveling laser to check sub-grade level and set your floor grades. I like to use the Topcon RL-H5B self leveling laser for all my jobs. It's really easy to learn how to use and set up. I use a self leveling laser, receiver, and grade stick to see how level the sub-grade is so I can set my top of concrete floor grades accordingly. Most of my concrete floors are an average of 4" higher than the sub-grade. The easiest and fastest way to check the levelness of your sub-grade is using a grade stick with some kind or ruler on it. Once your laser is level, it spins a 360 degree laser beam that the receiver picks up. This allows you to use the level laser beam to check and set grades easily.
