How To Form, Pour, And Finish A Concrete Patio Slab

This concrete patio installation is behind a house and under a deck. We had to set the forms to grade and slope them away from the house to shed any water that gets on the concrete. We installed 2" of foam under the slab to help prevent frost heaving in the winter. We also installed wire mesh to reinforce the concrete. To be successful pouring concrete for a patio slab, you need to know the process and steps involved. This video will show you our process and how we install all our concrete patios.
