Finishing Concrete For A Two Level Patio Slab (Stone Texture Finish)

The finish we put on the concrete was a stone textured pattern using concrete stamps. When you finish concrete the most important thing to learn is when to start, the timing is what is most important to learn to become a good concrete finisher. Concrete cures differently in the sun than it does in the shade. We had to deal with that on this patio finish. The tall buildings would only allow the sun to shine on part of the slab. This meant the concrete hardened much faster on the part in the sun and we had to adjust our finishing accordingly.
