#stampedconcrete #pooldeck #mikedayconcrete In this video, Part 4, of Stamped concrete pool deck, we're doing the cleaning, sawing the expansion joints, and applying the concrete sealer. In Part 1 I showed you the prep and forming, Part 2 was about pouring the concrete, Part 3 shows how we stamped the concrete around the pool. Cleaning the stamped concrete is done very similar to washing a car. We use a pressure washer, dawn dish detergent and some scrub brushes. We literally scrub the surface and remove all the loose release powder so the concrete sealer will bond to the concrete. We lay out all the expansion joints to control any shrinkage cracking and use an early entry saw to cut these lines. After cleaning and sawing, we let the concrete dry out for at least 24 hours before sealing. The sealing is done with a pump up sprayer and Trinic's Stampshield concrete sealer. We've found through a lot of trial and error, that Stampshield is the best sealer for stamped concrete out there. This sealer will not peel, flake, or turn white. It's easy to re-coat every year if needed and as you'll see in the video, very easy to apply. MY CONCRETE SLAB COURSE: https://mike-day.mykajabi.com/pl/79570
