Original Concrete Overlay Question:
"HELP!" How & what products do I use to overlay my newly stained concrete walkway?
Before staining and sealing
After it was stained and sealedHere's what the homeowner asked:
Last week I had my newly poured concrete acid stained on recommendation of my brother. It looked fabulous, it absolutely looked like the concrete was rust.
But, as good as it looked, I asked the concrete finisher not to seal it. When he did, it was too dark and just doesn't go with the Contemporary style of my house.
I am looking for a solution to restore or change it back to its original concrete finish. Which i loved to begin with.
I've been looking for a concrete overlay product that would closely resemble the original concrete color or finish.
Can someone please help with a recommendation on which product and method to use in order to restore concrete to a natural look.
Do I need to strip the stain? Even though it hasn't been sealed? I don't want it to look like it's painted or with color, simply to look like concrete again. I've posted a few before/after pic's. "PLEASE HELP!"
