Q. I covered my unfinished basement floor with a loose lay of linoleum (vinyl flooring from a box store). My basement took on about two inches of water due to an irrigation problem. Once I removed the vinyl floor covering there looks to be some black mold. What is the best way to clean this?
A. You can use a product called "Zep Mold & Mildew Stain Remover". You can buy this at Home Depot. Mop & scrub the concrete floor, then use a wet vac to clean up the dirty water.
Rinse the floor with clean water a couple of times to remove any residue.
