ICF footings

First, I would like to thank you for an excellent website, very user friendly and detailed.
Q. I'm what is known as a rookie who is adventurous. I intend to build an ICF home next year and was wondering if you could provide more info on the framing of the footings before pouring the slab?
A. The concrete footings for the ICF foundations that we have poured floors for are 10 inches deep and 16 - 20 inches wide. The footings are very level and smooth so the ICF's lay flat and connect together easily without having to shim under them. 2 x 10's would work well for framing the footings.
