Is there a black sealer for concrete?

Q. Is there a durable type of black sealer for concrete? It is for a parking lot and it is currently concrete but we would like it to look like blacktop.
A. There are some companies that make tinted black concrete sealers for driveways and parking lots such as yours. Some sealers penetrate into the concrete and don't wear off as easily as topical sealers. This is the kind of sealer you want. H&C Concrete Products makes a tinted concrete sealer like the one you are looking for. Keep in mind concrete sealers do wear off to some degree in time.
Acid staining the concrete is another option. Acid stain chemically bonds to the concrete and will not wear off. Then a clear penetrating concrete sealer can be applied and you'll have a colored concrete parking lot where the color will be permanent.
