Q. we are enlarging our patio, adding concrete to existing patio that is textured and colored. The existing slab is six years old, attempting to match or a topcoat to make it look the same, want to avoid replacing the old concrete, any ideas?
A. Trying to match new textured and colored concrete to old textured and colored concrete is virtually impossible. If you want the entire concrete patio to all look the same, you can apply a decorative concrete overlay to both the new and old sections of concrete patio.
Decorative concrete overlays can be applied as thin as 1/4 inch and colored & stamped to look just like concrete.
